We are so thrilled to share the preview of Rob and Gina’s wedding!  Rob and Gina met in 2010 in an engineering lab. Robert would try to get Gina to watch episodes of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” just so they could spend extra time together (how cute is that?!?). Gina said, “I think it took me a little while to get the hint :)”.  They started dating but shortly thereafter Robert had the opportunity to pursue his Ph.D. in Austin, Texas. Gina visited often and after two and half years of a long distance relationship, Robert moved back to the East Coast to be near Gina. Over the past few years, they’ve spent time enjoying each other’s company, doing the things they love to do – traveling, hiking, eating (they love trying different foods) and loving their adoring pup, Boccebear!

Robert proposed a year and a half ago at Blue Hill Stone Barns – a place Gina had been itching to go to for as long as she could remember! Robert picked up Gina from the train station.  As they hurried to the beautifully rustic barn building in the cold, Rob asked Gina to stop and look around. The area was picturesque, warmly lit with winter decor. He then asked if she wanted some chocolates – Baci chocolates – Gina’s favorite! She insisted it would ruin their appetite if they ate them. After realizing she was rushing to the entrance, Robert quickly knelt down and began his speech. He hid the ring in a Baci Chocolate box. He took the time to cut a little recess into the middle of the box to house a beautiful blue Tacori box! Gina exclaimed, “I repeated over and over again – “Is this really happening?” Robert had to assure her that YES – THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING. Then finally, as he knelt there, holding the ring in front her, he asked – “So, Yes?” Gina of course accepted!  Theirs is such a sweet story and we were so honored they shared it with us and gave us the opportunity to document their long-awaited wedding day.

When we asked Gina what the inspiration behind her wedding day was, she shared “I’ve always loved a rustic and vintage feel for the day of. Rob and I both appreciate DIY and handmade things so I wanted to incorporate as much as we could into the day. We fell in love with the Park Savoy because of its elegance and vintage feel. It’s classic and ornate but not over the top. We wanted our day to feel intimate and special!”
