Brie and Dave’s Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding
Documented by Berit Bizjak (Principle) and Carly Jara (Second)
There are few words that I can use to describe the emotions I felt when documenting this gorgeous Pleasantdale Chateau wedding. In 2012 I had the wonderful occasion to document the wedding of a beautiful couple, Lauren and Pat. Since that time we have become like family. So, when we got the call that Lauren’s sister, Brie, was getting married we were honored to accept the chance to document her and Dave’s wedding! Both Brie and Dave’s family were so generous with their time and allowed us into their sacred space. When couples and family members allow us into their sacred space there are no walls, no ego, simply them being human beings experiencing a momentous and purposeful event. This is truly where the magic happens and it is these moments that remind me why I became a full-time wedding photographer. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than documenting this life moments.
When I asked Brie what her inspiration of the day was she shared, “We wanted a classic black tie wedding with a modern twist! The color scheme of black, white and gold felt like the perfect complement for the time of year. Our vision was for classic elegance, with a touch of warmth.” Well, it is clear that this vision was achieved. It was a gorgeous autumn day filled with love and happiness! Thank you, Dave and Brie, for allowing me to document your beautiful day!
